Item Reviewed: Blacked Fish Tacos

A small little house turned restaurant, it sits just off the street. The front door is a screen door, the insides exactly what you would expect. A little cramped, but cozy, especially on a snowy night. The Apres (after ski) crowd hits this place up. With TV's showing extreme sports and weather reports patrons stay entertained while waiting for food or having a drink.

Kips offers a full bar, and food here is decent as well. For my first time I decided to go with the Fish Tacos, after all this is a baja style restaurant.

The tacos weren't bad, but not what I was expecting. The fish in the tacos had very little flavor, and the salsa was a raw chopped vegetable type, almost what I would consider Pico De Gallo style.

Menu selection was rather limited and the night I visited there was a snow storm outside and the place was packed.
The back of my chair was up against another person at the next table to further elaborate on the cramped seating of the location.

I would be willing to go back, order another item, and visit when its not as crowded. I enjoyed the atmosphere aside from the cramped seating, but was disappointed by the item ordered. Look for another review of this location in the future.

Variety: Baja, Bar, Mexican

Pros: Cozy, Good Location, Full Bar, Decent Food.

Cons: Can be crowded durring peak season.
