Item Reviewed: 2 Queen With Loft
Price Paid: $140
This hotel is located on the mountain (the ski village), about 4 minutes from the ski resort, but about 20 minutes from town.
Hand built, the building is like a giant log cabin. The room I stayed in was the Queen size room with loft. It offered 2 queen size beds, one downstairs, and one upstairs in a loft. It had a fireplace, fridge and microwave.
One thing that really stood out about this place was the breakfast. They have a dining area, with a wait staff, a full breakfast including bacon, sausage, toast, fruits, juices, cereals, waffles, and many other items. Its included in the price of the room. Im not a breakfast person and I found myself going to eat every morning. The dining area is on the 2nd floor surrounded by windows, and a nice loft that overhangs the front of the building.
There is an indoor hot tub, and they offer shuttle service to the ski resort also at no charge. While the rooms here are a little more expensive than elsewhere, you get many extras included in the price.
One thing though is that you are in the mountains here, and not in a heavily populated area, so there are no nearby gas stations, or grocery stores. There is no cell phone reception, and if you do get reception it is very spotty and doesnt work indoors.
I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a hotel near the slopes at a decent price, breakfast included, shuttles included. Also for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing setting.
