Item Reviewed: Rhodas Salad, Chicken Fried St Price Paid: $10-15 For my first visit to Rhodas I went with the Rhodas side salad, which is pretty large for being a side salad. It came highly recommend and held up to the recommendations. A mix of spring lettuce and spinach, topped with asian vinaigrette, gorgonzola cheese, sweet raspberries, & sugared walnuts.
It was the best salad Ive ever had, I ate 3 that week while snowboarding.
For my main course I asked about the chicken fried steak, which they claimed other Texans had said was pretty good. So I decided to try that. As well, the chicken fried steak had a good crust, not too thin or thick, crisp, had good flavor, & came with a side of corn, and whole skin mash potatoes seasoned with garlic and butter.
Surprisingly they served my favorite beer, Sunshine Wheat, which is a light bodied beer. It paired nicely with my lunch. Hardly a lunch you would expect to get on the slopes. Variety: American, Burger, Chicken Pros: Reasonably Priced, Good Variety, Good Food, Slopeside Cons: None |
